Wherwell Singers formed in 2006 with a core of enthusiastic singers in Wherwell, Hampshire, home of conductor Dr. Dale Webb.
We have since grown to a chamber choir of some 22 singers, performing regularly in our local church and surrounding villages to an enthusiastic and supportive audience.
We have performed concerts in Wherwell and have sung in Winchester Cathedral and Romsey Abbey. We occasionally invite other choirs to join us for special events, including our sell-out Gala Concert to celebrate our 10th anniversary in 2017. Our fundraising for local and national charities has raised significant sums over the years and members often join the local Benefice Choir to provide musical support for religious festivals through the year.
Please contact us if you are interested in joining our friendly choir, we are happy to give you more details and can arrange an informal audition if you would like to go ahead.
